I was very lucky to have Michael Flores from Flores Photography, photograph my fall photoshoot!!! Here are some of the picutres... A few weeks ago I showed some pictures from the "behind the scenes" taken from my iphone instagram app, but here are the final ones!

Make-up artist Perry L. Oakley did a little show and tell yesterday and wooed us with her Halloween tricks and treats! A fun little get together with host Keira at her new consignment shop, A Pretty Penny and some awesome make-up tricks by Perry!

First Perry did some cheetah print on me! So cool...

She started out with the basics...foundation, bronzer, blush, highlighter, some pretty eye shadow, and a little extra gold tint around the eyes...

The evolution of the intricate cheetah spots...

She used some pink eyeshadow and lined each with black eyeliner...

Viola! Now all I need is some cheetah ears and tail and I am ready for Halloween! 

Next she did a replication of the beautiful Black Swan on Iris...

She started out by airbrushing Iris to give her the porcelain swan look...

She used eyeliner on the top and bottom and three or four different eye shadow shades to get the brush stroke look and topped the Black Swan off with some dark red lipstick...

Viola! What a pretty Black Swan Iris makes ;)

faux.fur.yes.please

It's beginning to feel like fall!!! The weather is cooling off a bit and I can wear my boots a bit more without getting stares :) Obvi. the vest isn't used for warmth with this outfit, more of a fun accessory but that's ok, when it cools off just a tab more I can use it for it's purpose. The best thing about the vest is the pockets! Even better we have two left at m.marie and they are also available on our online shop! Visit here. This is a little pre-fur action to my first article I put together for Polk Kids Directory. This mag is going to be for families used as a resource guide dedicated to helping parents in our area identify businesses and services that can be of benefit to their family. It's great and the first issue is due to come out next month! Look for my article on how to wear faux fur dedicated to the mommy fashionistas out there!

I just want to say THANK YOU. I don't know how to thank you enough friends, you are the BEST! This adventure, could not be possible with out you. Some people ask me: "Why Winter Haven", I always had a dream to move away and work in NYC surrounded by socialites and fashion, but Winter Haven is home. Home is where the love is... right?! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world right now. I can't believe it's already been two years, so surreal. I wish I could name each and every person who has been there for me along this journey but the list would go on forever! You all know who you are and each one of you has helped me succeed in different ways. Thanks to the...friends who have worked on a Saturday for me so I could have the day off, friends who came to every single event I have, friends who drop in to say hello when they are in town, friends who are honest haha (Why would you buy that dress? Who would where that?! lol), friends who drop in just to say hi (sometimes just to say hi to my doggie Jacob) :), friends who worked hours on hours with me to put on a fashion show, friends who hosted shows... from fashion shows to trunk shows, friends who modeled for me, friends who did make-up and hair for me, friends from Junior League, friends who are technologically talented, friends who bring me lunch lol, friends who follow my facebook (I love facebook heehee), friends from college, friends who did photography, family who would be here at the drop of a hat if I needed them and the list could go on and on.... I feel like the luckiest girl in the world and I just want to say... thank you.
