surf.expo.January.2011

My FIRST blog post, starting off the year with a little Surf Expo!  We have some awesome new brands to share this year including: TOMS, Whitney Howard Designs and Billabong! RVCA, a staple at m.marie, will be returning with the new year! So happy :) I am proud to support companies that give back... each one has their own unique story... inspiring and beautiful.

TOMS.... using the power of One for One... By using the purchasing power of individuals to benefit the greater good is what they are all about. The TOMS mission transforms their customers into benefactors, which allows them to grow into a truly sustainable business rather than depending on fundraising for support.
TOMS.. with my girl Steph :)
Whitney Howard Deigns... Howard and Whitney express themselves as artists and designers of products that touch peoples' lives, "Our energy feels like magic when we work together. Blessing Rings, Inspire Rings, and Peaceful Hearts were created from our desire to bring joy, peace, love, healing and gratitude to those who give and receive them."

A few of my favorite pieces from Whitney Howard Designs... the blessing ring that I made into a bracelet, reading: Carpe Diem (seize the day) and the world bead bracelets in brown, tan and black <3 The world bead bracelets are in stock at m.marie!

Billabong! yay!  Billabong's story...

RVCA with G.T.!  What I LOVE about RVCA...The RVCA Artist Network Program, commonly referred to as the ANP, is an ongoing program which aims to showcase the talent of accomplished as well as unknown artists who inspire our generation and push the boundaries of creativity; providing something of substance and culture.
To RVCA, an artist is not someone who just paints a picture, or writes a song, but someone who is dedicated to sharing with the world their life, emotions and soul through innovative and creative ideas. RVCA and the ANP were developed to shake the very foundations of the business, by giving back to the artists and providing a voice for their creative growth.
