Wearing my favs of the week! These Free People lace shorts are amazing and I absolutely love mine! I paired them with this mustard and navy stripped shirt that we just got in. Haven't had much time for real pictures... story of my life! But this is what I wore to work :) 

New Free People cropped skinnies with little zippers at bottom. I love the color! It's kind of a cotton candy pink mixed with orange and a dash of peach! I did alter the coloring a bit on istagram but the jeans are still close to accurate color. Perfect for spring!

Comfy and cozy, the weather has been warm this year but it's cooled off enough to wear a light sweater (for a few days a least). Forecast today is rainy, which means outfit post in my rain boots! YAY! Backyard photos are becoming a regular as I find that when the lighting is right I'm usually at work, or at home (my camera was dead of course so we snapped a few on my Iphone)! I am modeling a few pieces from Angel Court a new jewelry line we are carrying at m.marie. Let me tell you, each and every piece is so cool. I've worn pieces on the blog before that I purchased prior to having the jewels here. Most pieces are unique (one of a kind) and have vintage touches to them, the bracelet is made from a vintage shoe buckle!

Took a little trip to the beach this weekend... these pictures were taken at St. Armands circle.

Long sleeves and shorts...Florida thing?! not sure but it's cozy enough for our Winter! The last picture is one of my instagram shots from my phone... sitting on the foot of the replica statue from the photograph taken in Times Square in 1945, a sailor kissing a nurse after the announcement of the end of the war on Japan. This photograph was published a week later in Life magazine. Just a little fun fact!

It's THREE days until Chirsitmas and I am feeling the heat! Literally and figuratively! Today's high is a whoooping 80 something degrees that's about 27 degrees celcius! Speaking of feeling the heat, I am doing my shopping today! Talk about last minute. :)

Obv. loving velvet this season... I remember when I was in high school, velvet to me was disgusting I wouldn't be caught dead in a velvet dress! haha. but now, I can't get enough of this amazing fabric. So I wore this outfit a few nights ago and had this image in my head of all the great pics I would get on our night out, until to my dismay, my camera battery was not charged! Story of my life! Off we went with no pictures to show. I just threw the outfit on again for a few pics, obv. at the wrong time of the day (hence the awful lighting) But it's ok, I can either wake up at the crack of dawn to take pictures or just show them in hideous lighting, don't judge our photography skills :)
